My ancient history includes …

… old Usenet discussion group participation (those that are software related are most likely me.)

In the dark ages I was familiar with IBM’s VM/CMS; Data General operating systems; DEC’s VAX/VMS - it was not called OpenVMS then - PDP-11 and way, way back the PDP-10s

I have been a long time Linux user (my first exposure was to something called Linux Universe, I still have my first Red Hat Biltmore disks around here somewhere). Prior to that I knew Solaris, SunOS, and Ultrix fairly well.

In this century I have been dabbling with AWS, Debian, and macOS.
